The Role
Working from the company’s head office they require an experienced Contracts Manager with the ability to manage the delivery of all aspects of new-build extensions, refurbishment and fit-out projects valued up to £2m.

Roles & Responsibilities Include:

Health and Safety
• Prepare and implement Construction Phase Health and Safety Plan
• Set, monitor and maintain safe working conditions

Cost control
• Monitor and record labour levels on site, ensuring that Site Manager has optimum resources available.
• Understand and monitor Preliminary costs and manage resources to meet budget.
• Ensure Site Manager monitors and manages material and plant useage
• Identify and record costs associated with variation works

Sub-contractor management
• Prepare scope of works for sub-contractors
• Assist in selection of sub-contractors
• Agree attendances on sub-contractors
• Manage programming and progress of sub-contractor work
• Monitor and record variations to sub-contractor packages, to include additional works, omitted works and cross charges
• Chair and minute weekly sub-contractor meetings

The successful candidate will:
• Have extensive multi site Contracts Management experience in the fast track Leisure Interior Fit across the Hotel, Bar, Restaurant & Fitness sector
• Have an understanding of contract procedures
• Have an understanding of interior construction methods
• Be seeking responsibility for the delivery of significant leisure refurbishment and fit-out contracts
